The original Acton School was opened in 1843. It is located in a beautiful rural setting on the Chester Road at Acton, just outside Nantwich.
In February 1988, the school was modernised and extended and again in 2001/2002. We have 5 classrooms and a hall. Three classrooms are used by Key Stage Two and two classrooms by Key Stage One. One of the Key Stage One classrooms also benefits from an extended playroom. Our hall is rarely out of use. Acton School is a co-educational Group One Church of England Controlled Primary School, with a Headteacher, five full time teachers and three part time teaching assistants.
Set in South rural Cheshire, the school serves the catchment areas of Ravensmoor, Burland, Henhull, Swanley, Faddiley, Hurleston, Acton, Brindley and Baddiley North. The governors are willing to consider out-of-zone admissions.
